We have a stock of instruments that are available for loan or hire. Availability depends on the choice of instrument and popularity. Priority will be given to children from low-income families (previously eligible for free school meals) and allocated on a first come, first served basis.
Apply for an instrument loan. Please select ‘enrol’ and then ‘instrument loans’.
If we accept your application, we will email to ask you to pick up the instrument. You must sign for and pick up the instrument from our office in Chapter Arts Centre, Cardiff.

Guitars and harps
Please be aware that our stock of guitars and harps to loan is very limited.
Pianos and keyboards
We have a small stock of keyboards available, but it may be more economical to buy your own as they are quite reasonably priced and often found in second hand sales. We are unable to loan pianos. You can find out more about buying your own instrument through our assisted instrument purchase scheme.
