The Training Brass Band was set up in order to bridge a gap within the county ensembles where Brass Band members could get together and learn their trade whilst making new friends in the process.
It is a great way to get into the banding scene and a great way to prepare the young musicians for the push up to our Youth Brass Band.
Learning new music and having fun is the main ethos of this group, whilst developing ensemble skills in the process.
The entry requirements for Training Brass Band are year 6 and above, and Grade 3 and above.
The band rehearse every Wednesday during term time at Cantonian High School from 5 to 6pm.
