The Academi package is made up of an individual lesson for a principal instrument or voice, chamber ensemble coaching sessions, specialist workshops and musicianship lessons, which include the study of Dalcroze Eurythmics. Our package centres around the idea of creating a holistic, dedicated musician.
This is a full day programme of classes for committed students wishing to study their instrument to the highest level, who may be considering progressing into higher education at conservatoire or university.
Students are taught by teachers with experience of teaching at conservatoire standard, many of whom are also professional performing musicians. The majority of our instrumental teachers have years of orchestral experience with orchestras including Welsh National Opera and BBC National Orchestra of Wales. Many have thriving professional careers as soloists or chamber musicians and use this experience to inform their teaching.
The Academi is held at Cardiff High School on Saturdays during term time.

The package costs £663.90 per term (or £199 per month over 10 monthly instalments)
There is also the option to mix and match elements of the package to ‘build your own’.
